| YouSD blazes a new trail in mobile memory cards |
|
Singapore (November 14, 2005) - (Secure Digital) SD card users will be glad
when Japan-designed INX SD cards, especially the "YouSD" range, hits the
stores this week.
This unique product is a SD card that also functions as a USB flash drive,
without the need for any cables, USB converters or card readers. One end of
the card has the connector of a regular USB 2.0 interface while the other
end has the same interface of a regular SD Card (as shown in picture here).
This enables the USB device to be compatible with many digital cameras and
PDAs, making it the perfect storage device. It also features an LED that
lights up during data transfer. YouSD means greater convenience and cost
savings for consumers.

device like a PDA or a digital camera to his desktop or notebook in one
fell swoop. Doing away with the need for external hardware and cables

INX SD Cards also come in water resistant models. This is ideal for underwater
photographers who use underwater cameras and would like to expand the
current capacity of their cameras. The water resistant cards have undergone
rigorous testing and are water resistant, which means that even if your
card is totally immersed in water, it will not damage the data.
The hi-speed SD card models complete the INX SD card range. For the video
enthusiasts, this SD range spells good news as it has one of the fastest
data writing speeds in the market - a low 49 seconds for the 1 GB card, a
good 60% faster than its closest competitor. This means that you can load
up pictures and videos in a shorter time, and enjoy smoother streaming
effects when downloading. This range also features robust housing, giving
better protection against dust and moisture that can corrupt data.
